On April 13, 2026, The School of Emerging Media and Creator Economy (SEMCE), K.R. Mangalam University (KRMU), has taken a significant step toward strengthening industry-academia collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Digitmaestro.
This strategic partnership aims to empower students by integrating academic learning with real-world industry exposure, particularly within the rapidly evolving creator economy and digital media ecosystem.

The MoU was formally signed by Dr. Rahul Sharma, Registrar, KRMU, and Arpan Srivastava, Founder of Digitmaestro, in the esteemed presence of Prof. (Dr.) Mehraj Uddin Mir, Officiating Vice Chancellor & Chair Professor, and Prof. (Dr.) Amit Chawla, Dean, SEMCE.
The collaboration is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, equipping students with industry-relevant skills, hands-on experience, and entrepreneurial insights. Through this initiative, students will gain exposure to content creation, digital branding, media production, and emerging technological trends, aligning with contemporary industry demands.
The initiative was spearheaded by Dr. Aditi Khare, Assistant Professor at SEMCE, with active support from the Dean SEMCE, Prof. (Dr.) Amit Chawla, reflecting the institution’s commitment to fostering innovation and industry readiness among its students.
