K.R. Mangalam University to Commence New Academic Session from August 23

The orientation programme “Aarambh” for the newly admitted students of K.R. Mangalam University, Sohna, will be organized on 23rd August 2025. The Chief Guest for the event will be Mr. Aman Gupta, Co-Founder of boAt. The programme “Aarambh” will be hosted under the chairmanship of Prof. Dinesh Singh, Chancellor, K.R. Mangalam University.

As part of this initiative, the University will also conduct a five-day Induction Programme for freshers from 25th to 29th August 2025. This was announced by Prof. Raghuvir Singh, Vice Chancellor, during a press conference held at the University campus. He further shared that through Aarambh, new students will be introduced to all academic aspects of the University.

In his message, Shri Abhishek Gupta, Pro-Chancellor, stated that the University has integrated the Mission Viksit Bharat 2047 and the National Education Policy across all programmes. He also highlighted the University’s achievements in research and innovation, including 200 patents, 3,000 research papers, and projects worth over ₹7 crore. Additionally, the University’s students are successfully running 35 startups, while several Centers of Excellence operate in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Dr. Rahul Sharma, Registrar, informed him that the University has become a prominent hub for delivering quality education and research opportunities to students at the national level. The University has also signed MoUs with over 200 globally renowned academic and research institutions. During the press briefing, Prof. Tania Gupta, Director, IQAC, shared that the University is successfully functioning a museum, offering several courses and undertaking projects on Indian Knowledge Systems.

The event was attended by the Dean (Academics), Dean (Research), Deans of all Schools, senior professors, and faculty members. At the conclusion of the press conference, faculty members and administrative officials guided media representatives on a campus tour.
