Gurugram, Haryana: HACK KRMU 5.0, one of Delhi-NCR’s largest student-driven hackathons, concluded with a grand valedictory ceremony at K.R. Mangalam University (KRMU) after an intense 54-hour innovation Hackathon. The flagship event of KRMU witnessed participation from over 1,000 students representing institutions from across the country, marking one of the most significant innovation gatherings in the region.

What began as a campus initiative has now evolved into a large-scale innovation festival, bringing together developers, designers, engineers, and problem-solvers on a single platform to create impactful, real-world solutions. For 54 continuous hours, participants worked tirelessly to conceptualize, prototype, and present scalable innovations. The event featured structured mentoring sessions by industry experts and rigorous evaluation rounds conducted by a distinguished jury panel.

It was structured across five dedicated competition tracks addressing high-impact sectors: EdTech, Cybersecurity & Threat Detection, HealthTech & MedTech, AgriTech & Rural Development, and Crypto & Blockchain. These diverse themes encouraged interdisciplinary collaboration and industry-oriented problem-solving, reflecting contemporary technological demands and societal challenges.

The grand finale witnessed remarkable performances from teams across India. The First Prize was awarded to Iterative Bytes from Mumbai University. The Second Prize was secured by AnIgOTech from COER University, while error404 from K.R. Mangalam University claimed the Third Prize, showcasing strong in-house innovation talent.

Track-wise champions were also recognized for domain-specific excellence. In the EdTech Track, ZERO-DIFF from IILM University, Gurugram, emerged victorious. The Cybersecurity & Threat Detection Track was won by Bug Slayers from St. Andrews. In the HealthTech & MedTech Track, Aarohan from BML Munjal University and Vector Shield from Amity University, Noida, were declared winners. The AgriTech & Rural Development Track title was secured by Code Cracker from PIET, while the Crypto & Blockchain Track was won by God Complexity from Manav Rachna International University.

The valedictory ceremony was graced by Dean and Prof. (Dr.) Pankaj Agarwal, Convener Prof. (Dr.) Shweta Banal, and Dr. Amar Saraswat, along with Co-Convener Mr. Vishwanil Suman. Esteemed judges and industry experts commended the participants for their innovation, resilience, teamwork, and technical excellence displayed throughout the competition.
With its most ambitious edition successfully concluded, HACK KRMU continues to strengthen its position as one of Delhi-NCR’s premier student-led hackathons. The event not only fostered innovation and entrepreneurship but also reinforced the university’s commitment to nurturing next-generation technocrats capable of engineering solutions for a rapidly evolving digital world.
