Hack KRMU 5.0: 54-Hour National Hackathon from 18–20 February 2026

The School of Engineering & Technology at K.R. Mangalam University is getting ready to host Hack KRMU 5.0. It is a 54-hour national hackathon. It will take place from 18 to 20 February 2026 at the university campus. The theme of Hack KRMU 5.0 is really innovative, called Engineer the Impossible! The people at the SOET and Inter-University are very excited, about Hack KRMU 5.0. The 5th edition of this event wants to get together some of the smartest young innovators, coders, developers, designers and problem solvers from all over the country. The event is going to help these young innovators turn their ideas into new technological solutions, this event is really, about bringing people to make new technology that can solve problems.

The hackathon is a place where people come together to think of ideas and make a difference. It will be an exciting place where people work together try to beat each other and think outside the box. For 54 hours teams will work on ideas build them test them and show everyone what they have done. They will focus on areas like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning making machines smarter finding new ways to be kind, to the earth keeping people safe online making healthcare better education better and trying new things. The last prototypes will be looked at by a group of judges. This group includes people who’re very good at what they do in the industry teachers and people who are, in charge of technology companies. They are the ones who will decide which prototypes are the best. The final prototypes will be evaluated by these judges who’re industry experts, teachers and technology leaders.

The total prize money for Hack KRMU 5.0 is ₹5,00,000. The team that comes in place at Hack KRMU 5.0 will get ₹1,00,000. The second place team at Hack KRMU 5.0 gets ₹60,000 and the third place team at Hack KRMU 5.0 gets ₹40,000. There are also prizes, for Hack KRMU 5.0 like track prizes and some really cool goodies. People who take part in Hack KRMU 5.0 will get to learn from good mentors and meet new people. They will also get a chance to get an internship and be known over the country for being part of Hack KRMU 5.0.. It is not about coding. It is about working with other people. It is about being creative and finding solutions to problems. Hack KRMU 5.0 is also about being strong and keeping going even when things get tough.. It is about being a good leader when things are not going well.

The event will have some cool things. There will be sessions where people from the industry will give advice. Hack KRMU 5.0 will have a jury made up of experts who will talk to the people taking part. There will be showcases where people can show off their ideas.. People will get to meet and talk to leaders in the technology world. Everyone who makes it to the round of Hack KRMU 5.0 will get a certificate. This certificate will be good for their school and work profiles. It will show that they took part in Hack KRMU 5.0 and that they are good, at what they do.
