K.R. Mangalam University Announces 7th Convocation Ceremony

Gurugram: On Sunday, 22 March 2026, at 11:00 AM, the K. R. Mangalam University family will organise its 7th Convocation Ceremony at the university’s Sohna Road campus to celebrate the academic achievements of 1,842 graduating students. The ceremony will bring together graduating students, their families, university leadership, and faculty members to mark this significant academic milestone.

The convocation will be graced by the Chairman of National Board of Accreditation (NBA), National Educational Technology Forum (NETF) and Former Chairman of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Prof. Anil D. Sahasrabudhe Ji, who will attend the ceremony as the Chief Guest and deliver the Convocation Address, inspiring and motivating the graduating students as they embark on the next phase of their professional and personal journeys. Distinguished personalities namely 1. Dr. Brajesh Pandey (Executive Director, INSA) 2. Dr. (Mrs.) Pankaj Mittal (Secretary General, Association of Indian Universities 3. Prof. Ar. Abhay Vinayak Purohit (President, Council of Architecture, India) will also be present as Guests of Honour on the occasion.

During the ceremony, the University will confer a total of 1,842 degrees across its academic programmes. This includes 1,238 undergraduate degrees, 474 postgraduate degrees, 67 diploma degrees, and 63 Ph.D. degrees across various disciplines offered by the University. The University will also recognise academic excellence by awarding a total of 154 medals, including 52 Gold Medals, 51 Silver Medals, and 51 Bronze Medals, to meritorious students for their outstanding academic performance.

Among the graduating students, 775 are female and 1,067 are male, reflecting the University’s diverse academic community and growing participation of students across disciplines.

The convocation ceremony will feature the traditional academic procession, conferment of degrees, presentation of medals, and the convocation address by the Chief Guest. On this occasion, the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Professor (Dr.) Raghuvir Singh will present annual report highlighting the University’s academic achievements, research initiatives, and progress in implementing the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Speaking ahead of the ceremony, the university leadership stated that the convocation represents a moment of immense pride not only for the graduates but also for their families and the entire academic community. It celebrates years of perseverance, learning, and dedication that prepare students to contribute meaningfully to society and the nation.

Mr. Trilok Kumar Singh is a media entrepreneur, researcher, and academic associated with K.R. Mangalam University and several digital platforms. Mr. Singh is presently teaching in the School of Emerging Media and Creator Economy (SEMCE) at K.R. He has built multiple digital ventures in news and social media, including Youth Darpan Media, IASmind.com, Post AtoZ Social Media, Micro BlogIN, and the International Journal of Journalism and Mass Communication (IJJMC), where he serves in leadership roles. His platforms and initiatives have been highlighted by various media outlets, and he has several years of experience in the digital media ecosystem as a founder and CEO. Mr. Singh has written extensively on sustainability, climate change, international relations, foreign policy, Indian politics, governance, and contemporary issues, contributing hundreds of articles and opinion pieces to Indian and global digital platforms. In addition, he has authored multiple journal articles and book chapters, further strengthening his academic and professional contributions to media and communication studies.

In 2025, Trilok Singh published a research article titled “Navigating Media Regulation and Censorship in Over‑the‑Top Platforms” and six book chapters: “Sustainable Development Cooperation Under India’s G20 Presidency,” “Digital Pathways to Sustainability: Assessing the Role and Impact of OTT Platforms in Advancing the United Nations SDGs,” and “The Role of Digital Media in Promoting Sustainable Business Practices in Delhi NCR,” among others. He also received two Best Research Paper Presenter awards at one international and one national conference in recognition of this work.
