Pashupati Singh, a permanent resident of Pashupati Villa Ward No. 10 Babhni, Madhepura, Bihar and an ex-serviceman, was suffering from age related diseases for a long time. Due to sudden brain stroke, he breathed his last on Tuesday 21 December 2023 (12:35 AM) in the ICU room of a private hospital (Meena Nursing Home) located in Saharsa, Bihar. According to government records, he left this world at the age of 87.

Pashupati Singh’s son Nanhe Singh said, “Father is not with us today but due to his blessings and virtue, we are progressing today.” For the satisfaction of his soul, the funeral feast has been fixed from 29 December 2023 to 01 January 2024 at our permanent residence Pashupati Villa. However, Pashupati Singh’s great grandson Saurabh Singh, who is serving in the Indian Army, was posted in Uri, Jammu & Kashmir at that time. As soon as he received the information, he took leave from the Indian Army and left for his residence (Babhani).

While informing on social media, Trilok Singh, younger grandson of Pashupati Singh and CEO of Youth Darpan Media, wrote, “Grandfather is no more.” In his next post, he writes, “It is difficult to put into words Dada’s contributions as an army man on the border and as a one-man army in the family. Whatever our entire family is today is only because of Dada ji. May his soul rest in peace. Dada ji will live forever in our hearts and minds.”
