Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal not feeling well, may undergo COVID-19 test

The CM will undergo coronavirus test after he complained of throat pain and mild fever.

Recent report suggest that, the Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal will undergo coronavirus test after he complained of throat pain and mild fever. He will undergo test for COVID-19 tomorrow morning.

Kejriwal has mild fever and cough. While the AAP leader has self-isolated himself and will likely undergo the COVID-19 test. The CM also has a history of diabetes and is reportedly on insulin and other medication.

He has been pro-active in leading Delhi’s fight against coronavirus. On June 7, he carried out a press conference to update the media about the coronavirus situation in the National capital.

He informed about the opening of malls and religious places in the national capital from June 8. The CM has been holding most of his meetings via video conferencing from his official residence for past two months.

Officials stated that, the CM had attended a Cabinet meeting on Sunday morning and thereafter, he did not attend any meeting.

He has gone into self-quarantine after developing sore throat and fever, and will get himself tested for COVID-19 on Tuesday, officials asserted on Jun 8.

Despite this, India is the fifth worst-hit nation by the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, only the US, Brazil, Russia and the UK are ahead of it.
