Four members of the Bachchan family have tested positive. After Amitabh & Abhishek, now Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter have also tested COVID positive, the recent report said.

As per latest input, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, 46, and daughter Aaradhya, 8, have tested positive for coronavirus. Their diagnosis follows Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan’s Covid-19 positive test report that came out on Saturday.

Other members of the Bachchan family namely Jaya Bachchan, Agastya Nanda, Navya Naveli Nanda and Shweta Nanda have tested corona negative.
Meanwhile, Health Minister Rajesh Tope had confirmed the same on Twitter, “Smt.Aishwarya Rai Bacchan & Daughter Aaradhya Abhishek Bacchan have also been detected positive for Covid19. Smt. Jaya Bachhan ji is tested negative for covid19. We wish the Bacchan Family to get well soon with a speedy recovery.”

Earlier on Sunday, Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar had stated Jaya Bachchan and Aishwarya had tested negative for coronavirus. The mayor”s statement came a day after Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan said they had tested positive for COVID-19 and were admitted to a hospital.
The mayor had stated that the Bachchan residence is now a containment zone and all residents have been quarantined for 14 days. Members of the Bachchan family, including the megastar”s grand daughter Aaradhya, took the rapid antigen detection test, Pednekar asserted.
“I have tested COVID positive. Shifted to Hospital. Hospital informing authorities, family and staff undergone tests, results awaited,” Amitabh, 77, tweeted on Saturday. “All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested, he had added. He has been moved to the isolation ward of the Nanavati Hospital.
