Gurugram, September 22, 2026: Vision Unlimited, a not-for-profit organisation working with children and families in Gurugram’s informal settlements, held its first fundraiser on September 19, 2026, at Museo Camera, Gurugram. The event brought together supporters, subject matter experts, community members and well-wishers to highlight the organisation’s work and support its programmes.
The evening began with the inauguration of Vision Unlimited’s book launch by Shri Rao Inderjit Singh, five-term Member of Parliament from Gurugram and Union Minister of State (Independent Charge), Government of India.
Following the inauguration, Vision Unlimited founder Dr. Shibal Bhartiya presented the organisation’s journey, highlighting its work with children and families in the informal settlements of Badshahpur. She spoke about Vision Unlimited’s evolution from a COVID-19 relief initiative into a community-focused organisation working across education, healthcare, nutrition, childcare and family wellbeing.
The presentation was followed by a panel discussion featuring Vision Unlimited board members Nikhil Prasad Ojha, Richa Saklani and Sharad Vishwanath, along with trustee Aradhya Bhartiya and subject matter experts. The discussion focused on the challenges of working in urban informal settlements, gaps in existing systems, community-led interventions and Vision Unlimited’s vision for the future.
The evening also provided an opportunity for guests to interact with the Vision Unlimited team and panel members over refreshments.
The event concluded with a pledge drive, marking the first time Vision Unlimited formally invited public participation in supporting its mission. The pledges will contribute towards the organisation’s programmes for children, women, families and elders in Gurugram’s informal settlements.
Since its founding in 2020, Vision Unlimited has served more than 3,500 children and their families, mainstreamed over 800 children into formal schooling and currently supports more than 700 children through its After School Clubs every day.
