Gurugram, August 23: K.R. Mangalam University celebrated its Freshman Orientation Programme “Aarambh” on August 23, 2025, with great zeal, enthusiasm, and grandeur. The University organizes this programme, themed “Aarambh: Embracing New Horizons”, every year to welcome newly admitted students. This year, thousands of students along with their parents attended the event. The Chief Guest, Shri. Aman Gupta, Co-Founder of boAt, while addressing the students, said, “Today, you are beginning a new journey of education. It is equally important to nurture progressive thoughts and innovative ideas so that your educational journey becomes a blessing not just for you, but for everyone around you. Never be disheartened by failures; makes us strong and prepare us for the difficult phases of life.”

The orientation was hosted under the leadership of Padma Shri Prof. Dinesh Singh, Chancellor, K.R. Mangalam University, who remarked, “Education creates new ideas within us. The true purpose of education is self-realization — to know oneself — and K.R. Mangalam University stands by you in this pursuit.” Prof. Raghuvir Singh, Vice-Chancellor, warmly welcomed the new students, stating, “Your arrival is a proud and joyous moment for us. At this University, students will not only gain academic knowledge but also practical exposure, cultural experiences, and skill-development opportunities to ensure their holistic growth. He further added, “Children are full of aspirations, and parents have great expectations from them — never let these bend. As a university, we are committed to making every possible effort to fulfill your dreams.”

The event was also graced by Shri. Yash Dev Gupta, Chairman; Shri. Abhishek Gupta, Pro-Chancellor; Shri. Rohit Gupta, Director; Dr. Rahul Sharma, Registrar, along with the Deans and faculty members of various schools of K.R. Mangalam University. On this occasion, Prof. Varuna Tyagi, Dean of Academic Affairs, guided students on how they can become an active part of the University’s diverse activities, clubs, organizations, and its rich resources. The event concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Rahul Sharma, Registrar, who mentioned that the orientation programme serves as a meaningful platform to address the academic queries of both students and their families.
