Increasing disenchantment with Modi’s Wave

There is no path that Sixty Years of Congress rule can be compared with just four years of BJP’s rule in India. So we can’t deny the rise of PM Modi’s wave easily, as it will fill the leadership void in BJP Party. Comparatively, In 2017, The Indian Prime Minister’s popularity rating, the government said, stands at Eighty One Percent and it increasing day by day, While In 2013, only Twenty Nine Percent of people were happy with the way things were going in the country. In 2016, the figure has gone up to Sixty Five Percent. Further, In 2018, Kerala, however, has seen a slight improvement in its satisfaction level for the BJP Government. But now the mood of the rest of the country is not great for the ruling party either..

Notice the emphasis on ‘Political Development’ and the suggestion that May, 2018 Karnataka Assembly Polls will soar to new heights, The RSS’s ideology and the BJP’s Hindutva brand are at work.. So more people in future can subscribe to RSS the right wing ideology. Also, The political wing of the same extend and infuse, the amended Ideology into the psyche of their party workers and galvanise them till they burst. Rise of Hindutva Politics and Nationalism instead of patriotism advocated by Right Wing Group has presented a sign of approval of present global Order. And due to BJP’s popularity across the country, rest of the political parties will try to unite with each other to stop the Modi’s wave in 2019 National Election but till date opposition doesn’t have any alternative agenda to Stop Modi’s Wave.

Meanwhile, the strong economic fundamentals has not been doing much to lift corporate profits or consumer spending and India’s banks have been struggling to control a growing mountain of bad debt. Skeptics also point to the fact that much of India’s world-beating growth is a result of change. Despite the disappointment of the investors and executives who had hoped Modi would become New Delhi’s most business-friendly Prime Minister ever.. We think most investors under-appreciate the medium to long-term positive impact of some of the policies being pursued by the current government, Standard Chartered Bank said in a research note that, “Although policy changes have been gradual and incremental, they are moving in the right direction”..

The government has increased the tax-to-gross domestic product ratio, primarily through indirect taxes. While the corporate tax rate has been lowered for smaller companies and promises have been made to extend the benefits to large companies. The government has allowed contract labour in all industries. This will allow businesses to hire and fire, giving flexibility to companies.

Recently, Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS) – Lokniti Survey report reveals that, ‘Sixty three Percent’ of those surveyed in South India are ‘Dissatisfied’ or ‘Unhappy’ with the Modi government. The survey found that if the election were held today, south India would be the region where ‘Ruling Party’ would fare the worst. While the dissatisfaction of the Union Government has increased across the country, highest in Tamil Nadu, with ‘Seventy Five Percent’ respondents unhappy with the same Government. Dissatisfaction levels have increased across all regions of the country and in most of the states, particularly the southern states..

Following the PM live speech updates on the fourth anniversary, “Under the leadership of the BJP, the NDA government is taking the country out of many unfinished projects. Today, after four years, I say it with a lot of responsibility, our government is not run from any Janpath, it is run according to Jan Mat (mandate). Everything was incomplete. Further, Vote bank politics was the reason behind this and when we talk about vote bank politics, some people call it communalism. The PM, Our fight against black money and corruption has brought a lot of people together on one stage. Whether it be people accused in Rs. 5000 crore scams or accused in various allegations, they are coming together. Not to save the country, but their families and dark deeds People know everything, they know their game: Prime Minister Narendra Modi live, On May 26, 2018 evening.

SUM UP

Popularity of a person wont be constant for long period, it keeps on changing time to time, and depends on the situation when survey is conducted.. If we look back at all the Budgets passed by the Modi government there are some schemes that have helped the Nation grow. For instance, even though the budget of 2018 advocated the rural India, the middle class of the nation were not given any preference and were seen on the non-receiving end. The government has been able to keep down the increase in minimum support prices (MSP) for crops. This has lowered inflation and also allowed the corporate sector to protect its margins. This ensures that the reserve army of the underemployed continues to exert a downward pressure on wages. So BJP has a wonderful prospect to build “Strong Party” and make India as a fastest growing and digitally advanced country. Replacing the existing tax system in India with the GST, Demonetization, The jan dhan Yojna, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Housing For All, Gas Connections for the rural, schemes in education, MSMEs, GST etc will surely promote the image of India globally. Could the Modi government have done more? Let us see in upcoming year. Jai Hind!
