NIMSME TO LAUNCH PG DIPLOMA IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT

The National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises(NI-MSME), an organisation of the Ministry of MSME, is launching a 11 month full time Post Graduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development (PG-DEED) for prospective entrepreneurs, CEOs of Start- ups, and budding entrepreneurs aspiring to start a business of their own, from August 2018.

Announcing this at a press conference here today, the Director of  NI-MSME, Dr.Sanjeev Chaturvedi said that the government of India has been initiating interventions to encourage micro and small and medium enterprises through it’s training and skill development programmes. The aim of this course, he said, is to provide guidance and mentorship to such entrepreneurs from generating ideas to launching their start ups.

Dr Chaturvedi  said the atmosphere in the state of Telangana is congenial to spreading the entrepreneurial culture. He said that the course would build competence through practical hands on experience and help empower entrepreneurs to launch successful ventures. It would also help the participants to define customer value proposition, conduct market analysis and design solutions, business models and financial projections.

He further said that the institute would provide  the participants mentorship  up to three years after the completion of the course and continue to provide the necessary expertise.

The participants would be selected through group discussion- cum-interview during June 11-22, 2018.  Applications have to be submitted online only at http://www.nimsme.org/.
