Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is scheduled to launch the India’s modern radar imaging satellite named “RISAT-2B” from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota at 0527 Hrs IST on May 22, 2019, subject to weather conditions.
About RISAT-2B
It is a India’s modern radar imaging earth observation satellite, and it will fly in ‘core-alone’ configuration carrying the satellite, without the use of solid strap-on motors.
However, It is the 14th flight of PSLV in ‘core-alone’ configuration (without the use of solid strap-on motors). It will be placed into an orbit of 555 km at an inclination of 37 degree.
Despite the same, The space agency has also made provisions for the general public to view the launch from its more recently opened Viewer’s Gallery at Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, Sriharikota. They can make online registration for viewing the launch from 5 days before the launch.
