On September 21, 2024, the Hyatt Hotel played host to the Delhi Times Fashion Week, which showcased the exceptional talents of students from KR Mangalam University’s (KRMU’s) Fashion Department. The highly anticipated show featured unique and captivating designs created by the university’s budding fashion designers.
Under the guidance of esteemed faculty members of KRMU, Ms. Chandni Agarwal, Ms. Varsha Verma, and Mr. Inderjeet Pandit, the students demonstrated their skills and creativity. Bhavya and Ayush, student coordinators, played a pivotal role in ensuring the event’s seamless execution.
Seven talented designers took to the runway to present their designs: Khushi Khandelwal, Payal, Khushal Sharma, Barkha Dang, Shamiya Khan, and Deepanshi. Their innovative and stylish creations gathered immense appreciation from the attendees, comprising industry experts, academics, and fashion enthusiasts.
The event culminated with a certificate distribution ceremony, where the Fashion Department felicitated its graduating students. The event was covered by Vanshika Tayal and Srijan Sharma, students of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. This gesture not only acknowledged their hard work but also marked the beginning of their journey into the professional world.
