Central Bank of India organised a Valedictory function at the Conclusion of the Vigilance Awareness Week celebration

As part of Vigilance Awareness Week from 29.10.2018 to 3.11.2018, Central Bank of India had organized a function for its employees at its’ Corporate Office at ChanderMukhi, Nariman Point Mumbai on 3.11.2018.

The Chief Guest of the function was ShriQuaiser Khalid, IPS, Inspector General  of Police, Maharashtra State a known motivational speaker, trainer and  an eminent Urdu Poet.

Shri C.V. Venkatesh, Chief Vigilance Officer of Bank welcomed the Chief Guest and informed the audience about the initiatives including several outreach activities across the Country  taken up by the Bank to spread the awareness about  this year’s  theme of “Eradicate Corruption – Build a New India” under the auspices of Chief Vigilance Commission.

ShriPallavMohapatra, MD & CEO emphasized the need for  Participative vigilance and for observing  preventive vigilance in all the routine work and day to day activities.

The Chief Guest Shri quaiser Khalid highlighted that all problems leading to corruption were born out of greed and unrealistic dreams of each individual. This has to be introspected by each citizen of this country which in turn shall curb greed, thereby reducing corruption. He also emphasized the need of all citizens voluntarily obeying the rules and regulations in all walks of life. He spoke at length  about the need for sensitizing the youth to achieve the dream of corruption free India.
