Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s last rites were performed at Vile Parle crematorium today. Seen at the funeral, amid heavy rain, were his Chhichhore co-stars Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Sharma, his Raabta co-star Kriti Sanon, and director Mukesh Chhabra, among others.
Also in attendance was Sushant’s Kedarnath and Kai Po Che director Abhishek Kapoor, who came with his wife, Pragya. Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has committed suicide at his residence in Mumbai. He was 34. He was found hanging in his apartment in Bandra on Sunday morning, and a domestic help alerted the police.
Rajput is best known for his titular role in Neeraj Pandey’s 2016 release, ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’, the biopic of former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He made his film debut in Abhishek Kapoor’s 2013 release, “Kai Po Che”, and was seen in films like “Detective Byomkesh Bakshi”, “Raabta”, “Kedarnath” and “Shudh Desi Romance”.
