Grand Celebration of ‘Fiesta 2024’ at Talakatora Stadium

New Delhi, March 2, 2024: The grand finale of the two-day fest ‘Fiesta 2024’ organized by the IITM Group of Institutions was held at Talkatora Stadium with great pomp and show. This year, “Fiesta 2024” had its unique style, where Punjabi singer Akhil mesmerized the youth with his captivating voice and melodious songs, compelling them to dance along.

The presence of a large number of spectators doubled the enthusiasm of the event. “Fiesta 2024” is a creative initiative of the IITM Group of Institutions, providing a platform for showcasing the knowledge and skills of the institute’s students. The formal inauguration of the program was done by Dr. Rachita Rana, Director of IITM, Dr. Monika Kulshreshth (Director, IINTM), and Dr. R.K. Singh (Director, IPITM), with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Rachita Rana (Director, IITM) said that values make the path to success easier in life. It is the duty of students to integrate values into their lives along with their studies. Dr. Rana emphasized that the IITM Group of Institutions will continue its efforts to promote creativity. Dr. Monica Kulshreshth (Director, IINTEM) and Dr. R.K. Singh (Director, IPIITM) encouraged the students, wishing them a bright future.

This year’s Fiesta 2024 featured events such as Ad Mad, Mono Acting, Quiz, Dalal Street, Just a Minute, Battle of Bands, Nukkad Natak, Shutter Club, Rangoli, Beat Boxing, Mr. and Ms. Fiesta, Solo Dance, Nach Baliye, Graffiti, Group Dance, and more, with participation from over 30 institutions from Delhi NCR showcasing their talents. The Fiesta 2024 held at Talakatora Indoor Stadium commenced at 9:00 AM on March 2nd and continued till afternoon, witnessing a continuous flow of spectators.

At the end of the program, the winners of various competitions of the grand finale of “Fiesta 2024” were felicitated. On this occasion, all the teachers, students, and staff of the IITM Group of Institutions were present.
