It was a pleasant Wednesday morning in the national capital with scattered clouds dotting the sky, but temperature are set to soar by noon, when the Met expects it to touch 32 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature was recorded one notch below normal at 15.5 degrees Celsius.
“There is a possibility of light rains,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said. At 8.30 a.m. humidity was recorded at 64 per cent.
Tuesday’s maximum and minimum temperature was recorded at 28.5 degrees Celsius and 12.8 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The overall Air Quality Index (AQI) was ‘unhealthy’ at 133.
